CCCN's 3rd Anniversary Concert "Crazily Chilling Colour Notes" successfully concluded on December 3. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the performers and guests for their support!
The concert kicked off with a performance by the Yuet Wah College Band, which shares a deep historical connection with the CCCN. This was followed by the first-ever performance at the venue by the D Major and Dandelion bands from Our lady of Fatima girls' school, who played uplifting songs such as "Ordinary Stars"(凡星) and "A Little Happiness,"(小幸運) conveying their passion for music and positive energy. Next, the Yuet Wah College Wind Ensemble captivated the audience with a soulful saxophone performance. Later, the CASA Band from Colégio Mateus Ricci, returning for their second performance at the venue, presented four pieces that reflected their courage to return to the basics, playing youthful and vibrant melodies. Finally, the harmonica ensemble "Harmonica Hunters" from Hong Kong took the stage as the grand finale. Their harmonica performance, combined with guitar and keyboard, spanned classical, anime, film, and pop genres, creating a dynamic and emotional atmosphere that brought the concert to a climax. The theme of the concert, "Crazily Chilling Colour Notes," emphasized that everyone has their own uniqueness and importance, and everyone can shine brightly.
Director Agnes Wong expressed, "Over the past three years, society has faced many unpredictable challenges. However, CCCN Macau has been fortunate to receive support, collaboration, participation, and venue bookings from friends in the arts and culture community, as well as generous donations from kind-hearted individuals. These have enabled us to successfully host events and breathe new life into this nearly century-old historic mansion. We are also deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our strong backing—the Catholic Diocese of Macau. As we approach our fourth year, CCCN will continue to uphold the motto 'Heart Speaks to Heart,' providing a platform for more young people to showcase their artistic talents and connecting with the community through our venue."
